Ningbo is called Zou Lu in East Zhejiang because of a scenic spot, Gele Lake Scenic Area. Tianyige Moon Lake Scenic Area is located in the center of Ningbo, and "Zou Lu in East Zhejiang" describes Moon Lake in Ningbo. This lake was dug in the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty. Ningbo, referred to as "Ningbo" for short, is a sub-provincial city in Zhejiang Province, a city with separate plans, an important port city in the southeast coast of China and an economic center in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta approved by the State Council.
