How to form and grind mould parts?
How to form and grind mould parts? In the manufacturing of injection mold, it is the most common and effective processing method to finish the punch, die and punch parts by forming grinding. (1) Characteristics of form grinding The so-called form grinding is to decompose a complex forming surface into several simple surfaces, such as plane and cylindrical surface, and then grind them in sections to make their joints smooth and smooth, so as to meet the requirements of drawings. Form grinding has the advantages of high precision and high efficiency. The punch and combined die can be hardened, and the influence of heat treatment deformation on the accuracy can be eliminated, thus improving the manufacturing accuracy of the die. At the same time, form grinding can reduce the workload of assemblers and improve production efficiency. (2) Method of Form Grinding Form grinding can be carried out on surface grinder and form grinder, and there are two main methods: 1) Form grinding wheel grinding method. Using the grinding wheel dressing tool, the grinding wheel is dressed into an opposite profile which is completely consistent with the profile of the workpiece, and then the workpiece is ground with this grinding wheel to make the workpiece into the required shape. There are many ways to dress grinding wheels, but diamond dressing is the main method. When dressing the grinding wheel with diamond, the geometric shape of the forming surface is mostly dressed in sections. This method of dressing grinding wheel is mainly accomplished by various grinding wheel dressing tools. Commonly used grinding wheel repair tools mainly include angle repair, arc grinding wheel repair tool, universal grinding wheel repair tool, copying grinding wheel repair tool and so on. 2) Fixture grinding method. This is to clamp the workpiece on a special fixture according to a certain orientation, adjust the position of the workpiece through the fixture during machining, and then move or rotate the fixture for grinding, so as to obtain the required shape. This is the most used grinding method in production. The fixtures used for forming grinding mainly include: sine magnetic table of precision flat-nose pliers, sine indexing fixture, universal fixture, etc. ① General fixture 1- a turntable 2- a small sliding plate 3- a handle 4- a middle sliding plate 5- a lead screw 6- a lead screw 7- a spindle 8- a worm wheel 9- a cursor 1 1 _ an indexing plate 12- a. The workpiece is clamped on the 1 turntable. The middle slide plate can move on the slide plate seat, and the small slide plate 2 can move on the middle slide plate. These two directions of motion are completely perpendicular. Turn the lead screws 5 and 6 to adjust the up-and-down and left-and-right positions of the workpiece. The indexing part can be used to control the rotation angle of the workpiece. The universal fixture can rotate the workpiece and move the workpiece in two mutually perpendicular directions through the cross slide plate, so as to adjust the rotation center of the workpiece to coincide with the center of the fixture spindle. Therefore, the universal fixture can finish the grinding of convex and concave cylindrical surfaces with different axes.
