GIC jewelry appraiser qualification certificate must obtain GIC gemmology certificate and GIC diamond classification certificate. Gem certificate should take GIC Gem Basic Course (one and a half months), GIC Gem Certificate Course (three months), and diamond certificate should take GIC Diamond Grading Course (one and a half months).

The school compiles and plays, tests the explanation of some terms and uses basic instruments. Some secondary vocational students with only junior high school education have passed during their school days.

However, GIC certificates are only useful for students with connections and political and economic backgrounds. If the family economy is not strong, they can basically only be shop assistants.
