Ruili is connected with mangshi in the east, Longchuan in the north, Myanmar mountains and rivers in the northwest, southwest and southeast, facing the village and adjacent to Muse, a national port city in Myanmar. It is the only border trade zone in China that implements special management under the mode of "domestic customs clearance". Ruili has a total area of 1020 square kilometers and a total population of more than 200,000 (20 1 1 year). The government is located in Mengmao Town.
Ruili is the largest inland port in southwest China, an important jewelry distribution center and one of the first excellent tourist cities in China. Ruili is also one of the national 17 land port cities, and it is the first stop for the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline to enter China.
