1. Maintenance of appearance parts

The watchcase strap is made of many materials, such as tungsten-titanium alloy, high-tech ceramics, stainless steel, soft fiber, ordinary steel and so on. When wearing, try to avoid rubbing and bumping with special bodies with hardness exceeding or the same. It is also necessary to clean the watchcase strap regularly. In addition, seawater, salt water bath, perfume, shampoo, nail polish, nail polish remover and some cosmetics containing chemicals have certain corrosive effects on the gold-plated layer and metal surface of watches, so contact should be avoided.

(2) the mirror:

Watch mirrors can be basically divided into synthetic crystal glue, mineral glass and sapphire crystal glass. Synthetic crystal glue has poor wear resistance, easy to scratch, but strong impact resistance. Sapphire crystal glass is worn, but the material is fragile and afraid of violent impact; Mineral glass is in between. Even for the wear-resistant sapphire crystal glass, we should pay attention to the impurities contained in diamonds, grindstones, sandpaper, nail file, flower net stone surface and concrete wall surface to avoid scratching its surface.

2. About waterproof watches

30-meter waterproof: refers to life waterproof, washing hands, washing face, getting caught in the rain, splashing water on the car, etc.

50 meters waterproof: suitable for fishing, car washing, shower, swimming, etc.

Waterproof/kloc-above 0/00 meters: suitable for diving and snorkeling.

3. About quartz watches

The battery should be replaced regularly, and at the same time, the sealing ring should be replaced, and the waterproof test should be done (the general battery power consumption time limit is 1-2 years). Some watches have a battery replacement reminder function, and the battery should be replaced within 3 weeks after the reminder.

4. About mechanical watches

The movement should be maintained 1 time within 2-3 years, such as cleaning and oiling. If you don't wear it for a long time, you should also wind it regularly and let the timing chip rotate.

5. About your possible misunderstanding about watches.

(1) It is completely wrong to wear a folding watch to wash the sauna.

Because no matter how many meters above the waterproof depth, you can't steam sauna. Maybe there will be no problem with the appearance over time, but the movement has been infringed. Because the external parts of the watch are made of materials with different expansion coefficients, if the wearing environment temperature of the watch is greater than or equal to 50 degrees, there will be a pressure difference inside the watch. Under the action of air pressure, the air inside the watch will run out, and when the temperature difference decreases, the outside air will run back to the watch. The temperature in the steam room is much higher than the standard, so the air in the table will come out and the humidity is higher than the standard air. In some cases, water vapor may not appear immediately in the watch, but when the temperature in the watch is suddenly low, the air with a temperature higher than the standard will condense on the glass, forming water droplets or fog, and the heat of steam will accelerate the aging of the waterproof apron, which will not protect the movement normally.

(2) Confirm that the watch mirror is sapphire crystal through water drop condensation;

This practice is unscientific.

Because some mineral glasses will also condense water droplets, and some water droplets on sapphire crystals will also disperse, but the wear resistance is the same. The manufacturer will explain what material the watch mirror is made of. Don't try it with water drops.

(3) Quartz watches are no longer waterproof after changing batteries, and they are not allowed to walk: this view is wrong.
