In the ancient feudal society of China, there was a saying that "everything is inferior, but reading is high." However, businessmen are often ignored. In fact, in order to maintain a self-sufficient farming society, ancient rulers also took various measures to suppress businessmen. But even so, three most successful businessmen were born in the history of China, and none of them had a happy ending. These names sound familiar. Let's have a look!

The first is Lv Buwei of Qin. His family has been doing business for generations, running around, buying at low prices and selling at high prices, and soon accumulated huge wealth. However, Lv Buwei's ambition obviously goes far beyond this. He once asked his father how much profit he could make from farming. Father replied: "Ten times", and Lv Buwei said: "How many times can you get benefits from selling jewelry?" The father replied, "A hundred times", "How many times can you gain by establishing a king of a country?" Father said, "I can't count." In this way, he decided to devote all his efforts to help proton enter Zhao and help him return to China to ascend to the throne, which was later Qin Zhuang.

After King Xiang of Qin Zhuang acceded to the throne, he immediately reciprocated, became prime minister, and was in power. After the death of King Xiang of Qin Zhuang, Ying Zheng succeeded to the throne and was called Guan Zhong. However, Lv Buwei is too powerful, but forgot how to advance and retreat. Finally, Qin Shihuang was uprooted, deposed, exiled to Shu, and committed suicide by drinking zhenniao halfway.

As for the second one, it was Shen Wansan in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, there was chaos in the world, and there were frequent insurgents. It's not easy to eat. However, in Shenjiayang, Xing Wu, Shen Wansan went to Suzhou City to sell silk porcelain, and at the same time sent overseas jewelry, ivory and spices to China, and gained a lot of wealth.

But he also became the target of Zhu Yuanzhang's attack. Everything withered in the early Ming Dynasty, so Zhu Yuanzhang advocated frugality, but Shen Wansan was extravagant, which naturally caused dissatisfaction. According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang built his capital in Nanjing and planned to expand Yingtian City, so he asked Shen Wansan to build the section from Jubaomen to Shuiximen. I didn't expect Shen Wansan to do his best, which was even grander than Yuzao. It was completed three days ahead of schedule, which made Zhu Yuanzhang's face dull and his attitude was very cold. After that, Shen Wansan got scared and offered to Zhu Yuanzhang to reward the three armies with his millions of gold. This kowtowing to Zhu Yuanzhang made Zhu Yuanzhang furious. Shen Wansan was also sent to the Yunnan border to exile the army and eventually died there.

Among modern businessmen, the most famous is Hu Xueyan, a businessman with red top. Businessmen were forbidden to be officials, or gentry were forbidden to do business. The discoverer paid money in hell, but Hu Xueyan made this example. He was born in 1823, which coincided with the opening of the Qing Dynasty by foreign powers, which was "an unprecedented great change in China for thousands of years". On this basis, Hu Xueyan, as a representative of Huizhou merchants, organized money houses and opened pharmacies, amassing a lot of wealth. Moreover, he also got in touch with the court. 186 1 year, the Taiping army besieged Hangzhou, and Hu Xueyan actively transported arms, grain and rice from Shanghai, which was appreciated by the left. Later, he joined Fuzhou Shipping Bureau. Under his command, Zuo Tang Zong attacked Agubo. Hu Xueyan contributed greatly to raising military expenditure of11950,000 yuan. That's why he came second and got a yellow jacket.

But 1883, more and more officials regard Hu Xueyan as a cash cow. Hu Xueyan, which has always been low-key, suffers indignities everywhere, and its capital turnover is ineffective, and it is squeezed out by foreign businessmen, resulting in a huge industrial deficit. The Qing court deposed Hu Xueyan and recovered his money. 1885, Zuo died alone in poverty and hatred, which makes people sigh.
