Benrath Castle, about 20 kilometers south of the city, is located on the Rhine River. The pink baroque building is the only remaining ancient castle in Dusseldorf. Heger Villa, located in the suburb of Essen. The Krupp family was once the most prominent steel tycoon in Germany. The family manor covers an area of 28 hectares and is the largest rich merchant manor in Germany. It consists of palaces, big forests and green grass fields. Jan-Wareham-Monument (1711) belongs to the most important baroque monument in Germany. The city hall built in 1570, with painting as the background, constitutes the center of Dü sseldorf market.
Benras Palace (1755- 1773) is an excellent work of rococo architecture.
Jazz Festival: Jazz Festival is held in Dü sseldorf every June/July.
