Huayan Temple consists of Huayan Cave, Jieyin Temple and Daxiong Hall. The temple is surrounded by mountains and waters, with lush bamboo forests and lush trees, covering an area of 474 mu. Daxiong Hall was founded by Ke Sheng Zen Master in the 9th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1670) and rebuilt in the 27th year of Qianlong (1762). After renovation, it has reached its present scale. The main structure is distributed in the order of the central axis: Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Sutra Hall, Zen Room and Dharma Hall. Daxiong Hall is of wood and stone structure with double eaves and glazed tile roof. 5 rooms are wide, 22.5m deep, 6 rooms are deep, 9.7m high and13m high. Jieyin Temple is 30 meters north of Daxiong Hall. The layout of quadrangles consists of archways, doors, affiliated halls and main halls. It was built in the fifth year of Qing Daoguang (1825). Huayang Cave is located about 100 meters southwest of Ursa Major Hall. The original building has been destroyed and only the remains can be found. Huayan Temple has many plaques and stone tablets inscribed by Qing, Gong and others, and is a municipal cultural relics protection unit.
