PVC glue and PET glue are the classification of glue.

Self-adhesive, also known as self-adhesive label material, is a composite material with paper, film or special material as fabric, adhesive coated on the back and silicon-coated protective paper as backing paper.

Classification of self-adhesive labels:

1. Surface materials used: woodless paper, coated paper art paper (shading/mirror), transparent PVC, electrostatic PVC, polyester PET, laser paper, temperature-resistant paper, PP, PC, kraft paper, fluorescent paper, thermal paper, copper silk dragon, silver silk dragon, gold-plated paper, silver-plated paper and synthetic paper (CPC/PP

Two: the purpose of the film: transparent PET translucent PET transparent OPP translucent OPP transparent PVC bright white PVC matt white PVC synthetic paper bright gold (silver) polyester matt gold (silver) polyester.

Three: Glue types: generally super-sticky, generally strong-sticky, strongly sticky for frozen food, generally uncovered, and fiber uncovered.

PVC adhesive:

PVC is non-combustible, with high strength, excellent weather resistance and geometric stability, and strong resistance to oxidants, reductants and strong acids. In addition, because of its good flexibility, shrinkage and opacity, good processing and labeling performance, strong chemical corrosion resistance and durability, it is suitable for long-term outdoor use.

But PVC has poor thermal stability and light resistance. Hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas can be decomposed and released above 140℃, which is not conducive to environmental protection (alkaline stabilizer and HCl are often added in actual production to inhibit its catalytic cracking reaction). In addition, some toxic auxiliary materials such as plasticizer and antioxidant are added in the manufacturing process to enhance its heat resistance, toughness and ductility, so its products generally do not store food and medicine. In addition, PVC label materials have poor degradability, which has a negative impact on environmental protection.

PET adhesive:

Polyethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalic acid (PTA), the main raw materials of PET, are widely used as fibers, which can be divided into two categories: non-engineering plastic grade and engineering plastic grade.

PET has excellent properties (heat resistance, chemical resistance. Toughness, electrical insulation, safety, etc. ), the price is cheap, so it is widely used as fiber, film, engineering plastics, polyester bottles and so on. The industrialized products of polyester thermoplastics in the world include the following six aspects (industrialized products are available).
