China Civil Aviation Flight Academy (Guanghan Flight Academy), founded in 1956, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China to train civil aviation pilots and other professional and technical personnel, and it is also the earliest, largest and most authoritative institution in China to train civil aviation pilots. The college has four deputy bureau-level flight training branches in Xinjin, Guanghan, Mianyang and Luoyang, and five airports with complete flight teaching and training facilities.

After 52 years of construction and development, the school has now formed a school-running pattern with engineering as the mainstay and coordinated development of science, engineering, literature and management. The majors offered cover all professional fields of talents needed for civil aviation transportation. From here, a large number of pilots have graduated (most pilots of China Civil Aviation have graduated from here), and many of their outstanding talents have taken the leadership positions of civil aviation departments at all levels in China and become the backbone of civil aviation construction and development in China.

It can be said that China Civil Aviation Flight Academy is the best among many civil aviation flight academies in China at present.
