Pandora Pandora was founded in 1982 by Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife Winnie in Copenhagen, Denmark.
1982, Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife Winnie opened a jewelry store in the simple capital Copenhagen, which is the predecessor of Pandora. Enevoldsen and his wife have often gone to Thailand to collect jewels and bring them back since they opened their business. With the increasing market demand for jewelry products, their business focus has gradually shifted to wholesale products to Danish customers. ?
After several years of successful wholesale business, the company stopped its retail business on 1987 and moved to a larger business place. In the same year, the first full-time designer joined Pandora, and the company began to concentrate on building its own jewelry.
Pandora covers more than 100 countries on six continents. There are as many as 7,800 points of sale worldwide, including more than 2,400 concept stores. The company is listed on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
