Lv Dongbin was a handsome man when he grew up, but strangely, he was twenty years old but never married, which was considered a strange man at that time. It seems that Lv Dongbin is out of luck. Jinshi, who has been admitted for many years, has never been admitted, which is a great blow to a child prodigy who recites thousands of words every hour. Desperate, Lv Dongbin decided not to take the exam. He traveled alone to amuse himself.

To Lv Dongbin's own surprise, this visit changed his fate. One day, in a restaurant in Chang 'an, depressed Lv Dongbin saw a scholar-like man writing poems on the wall. Lv Dongbin saw that he looked quaint, and his poems were somewhat detached, so he couldn't help coming forward and talking to him. Knowing that this is such a famous fairy, Han Zhong left, and the two chatted, which was really speculative. At this moment, Lv Dongbin didn't expect Han Zhong to say: I live in He Ling, Zhong Nanshan. At this time, although Lv Dongbin yearned for the immortal life, he was very depressed by repeated blows, but after all, he was still wanting more, so he thought about it and declined Han Zhongli's invitation, but he did not agree. Seeing this situation, Han Zhongli knew that the timing was wrong and said, well, you see, we also hit it off. Why don't we have a good visit to Chang 'an and feel the prosperity of Chang 'an? This is exactly what Lv Dongbin wants. Traveling alone is not fun at all. Isn't it just right to have such a pleasant friend as a companion? So he readily agreed.

Since then, the two men have been wandering in the street all day. It's really an honor, and it also means meeting each other late. In the evening, Han Zhongli and Lv Dongbin stay in the bar together. Han Zhongli took good care of him. When he was tired, Han Zhongli specially prepared food for him until he woke up. Having fun like this every day, Lv Dongbin seems to have really forgotten the boredom of life, and feels that such a day is really good.

One day, Lv Dongbin felt tired and went to bed by himself. Han Zhongli is still cooking for him. As the saying goes, think about it day and night, and dream at night. Although he has been away from Han Zhong for several days, he seems to be living a fairy-like life, but after all, he is still indifferent and can't let go after repeated attempts. So on this day, I had a dream as soon as I fell asleep, and it was a beautiful dream. Lv Dongbin dreamed that he not only won the exam, but also won the first prize. At that time, all the officials came to congratulate him, and he himself got married and had children. His life is really rich, and so are his children. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. Suddenly, I was convicted of a felony for no reason. My rich family property was completely confiscated and my wife and children were separated. In the end, I was alone and poor, and I could only stand shivering in the snow alone. I really think I shouldn't cry every day. Lv Dongbin was about to sigh, but she was suddenly awakened. After waking up, she still felt a little in a daze and was still looking for the opportunity of her dreams. Han Zhongli couldn't help laughing when he saw him like this. At this time, Han Zhongli's cooking is not mature, so Han Zhongli wrote a poem: Huang Liang is immature and dreams of Chinese food. Lv Dongbin was shocked when he read this poem: Do you know my dream? Han Zhongli said: Just now, in your dream, you experienced the ups and downs of life, saw all kinds of human feelings and enjoyed all the splendor, but fifty years was just a moment! What you get is not worth being happy, and what you lose is not necessary to be sad. Isn't life just a dream? After hearing Han Zhongli's words, Lv Dongbin felt as if he suddenly understood everything, so he made up his mind to follow Han Zhongli to Mount Zhongnan and eventually become an immortal.

Who's Lv Dongbin?

In fact, Lv Dongbin people are most familiar with him, that is, dogs bite Lv Dongbin, but they don't know what to do. It was explained that this sentence is a different reflection of dogs' different attitudes towards Lv Dongbin's different clothes, and it is an allusion to some people's different faces towards the rich and the poor. But if such an explanation is made, what does it have to do with not knowing the heart of a good person? This doesn't seem to make sense. In fact, there is another version of this proverb, which is an interesting little story.

It is said that before Lv Dongbin was turned into a fairy by Han Zhong, there was a countryman named Gou Gao whose parents died when he was very young, and his family was very poor. When Lv Dongbin saw his situation, he was very sympathetic to him. The two were like-minded, so they became brothers. His ancestors left some property. Although I tried many times, I met and visited my friends every day and had a good time. Since Gou Gou and I are sworn brothers, it is natural to invite us to live at home, and Lv Dongbin also hopes that he can study hard, so that he can make a difference and forget his wish. After moving to Lv Jia, he read books every day. They talked about everything, but they also lived a quiet life.

One day, a guest named Lin came to the house. Seeing Gou Jian's beauty and diligence, he intends to betroth his sister to him. He told the idea to Lv Dongbin and asked if Lv Dongbin was feasible. Lv Dongbin took Gou Gao home, hoping that he would have a good future. The future is not very good now. This proposal came first, and Lv Dongbin was afraid of delaying Gou Jian.

Such a request embarrassed Lv Dongbin, but he was only his sworn brother after all. Besides, it's not a bad thing that he got married, and he can't help but agree. Lv Dongbin thought for a moment and said to him, Well, Miss Lin is beautiful and virtuous. Since my good brother is getting married, I won't stop you, but on one condition, after you get married. If you listen, you will be shocked involuntarily. How can a brother make such a request? But he really wants to marry this miss Lin, and his brother is good to himself. After much deliberation, he gritted his teeth and said that he would get married.

In a blink of an eye, on the wedding day, Lv Dongbin was beaming, but when he looked at Hook again, he was not very happy, as if he felt embarrassed to meet people, and then he simply hid himself from the scene. In the evening, when all the guests were scattered, it was time to spend the night in the bridal chamber, and the bride sat on the bed with a hijab and waited for the groom. I remember the previous agreement, and I didn't know where I went for a long time. Lv Dongbin doesn't care where I go. He went straight into the bridal chamber and didn't speak when he entered. He just sat under the lamp at his desk and buried himself in reading. Because Lv Dongbin didn't do anything, the fire was a disaster for him, so there was no way, so the couple discussed it and asked Gou Gao for help. Along the way, Lv Dongbin went through hardships and finally found the palace. When Gou Gou saw Lv Dongbin coming, he immediately asked Miss Lin to come out and visit her brother. She was delicious and delicious. It's really warm beyond description. I heard that there was a fire in our house, and the couple were so sad that they shed tears, but no one mentioned anything to help. It was like this for more than a month, and Lv Dongbin was not given a penny. Lv Dongbin became more and more anxious as he lived, and he was extremely anxious when he thought that his wife and children at home were waiting for him to take money back after eating the next meal. Busy let out a cry. Unexpectedly, when Lv Dongbin's wife looked back, she was too scared to say anything. She pointed to Lv Dongbin and cried trembling, Are you, are you a person or a ghost? When Lv Dongbin heard his wife ask this question, he was even more confused, so he asked, "Why do you ask this?" ? Do you think it's not good for me to come back? How can I be a ghost? Only when he said this did his wife dare to study it carefully, and then she realized that it was really Lv Dongbin.

It turned out that soon after I went to find Gou Kun in Lv Dongbin, a group of people came to build a house for his family. After these people came, they didn't say anything, built the house and left. At noon the day before yesterday, a large group of people came in carrying coffins, saying only that Lv Dongbin had died in Gou Gou's house. Lv Dongbin's wife began to cry without thinking when she heard the news of her husband's death. Hearing this, Lv Dongbin immediately understood that this was Gou Kun's trick. He was very angry, so he approached the coffin, picked up a big axe and cut it. When the axe fell, the coffin was immediately split in half, only to find that gold and silver jewels were scattered all over the floor, and there was a letter inside, which read: Gou Jian was not an ungrateful man, but he sent the gold and silver family to build a house. You shut my wife in the room and I made her cry her eyes out. Lv Dongbin woke up like a dream after reading the letter. He gave a wry smile: Dear brothers, you have helped me so much!

Since then, the two Lu Gou families have become more intimate, which is another way of saying. As the saying goes, they don't know how to be considerate. Because they are homophonic with dog bites, they become dog bites from hand to hand and don't know how to be considerate.

Among the legends of the Eight Immortals, there are most legends about Lv Dongbin, and his stories alone may account for one third of the whole legendary stories of the Eight Immortals. These stories basically depict Lv Dongbin according to the image of a scholar or a Taoist with literati temperament. Among them, there are several stories about Lv Dongbin before he became immortal. For example, the legend we just said about him and Gou Jian is about his sincere friendship with friends, the story about the origin of his sword, and the legend about his sincere determination and love for his teacher during his practice. However, there are also some legends that describe his shortcomings and mistakes, for example, he is frivolous, greedy, ostentatious, conceited and stubborn. In such a legend, Lv Dongbin became a boatman, a village girl and an unsuccessful scholar, and immortals were not as clever as mortals.
