What does the capsule tell us?
Sorin Capsule is the representative work of Mr. Cheng, one of the "Four Famous Danes in Denmark". Written by the famous playwright Weng Ouhong 1937, the content is taken from a short story in the drama, which tells a touching story of how a kind-hearted rich woman was rewarded and rescued for her generous help in a fickle world. 1940 premiered in Shanghai Golden Theatre in May, and now the play is often performed, which can be described as an evergreen tree on the stage of Peking Opera. The achievements of this drama in vocal music art and lyrics arrangement are the highest in Cheng School's repertoire, and even occupy an important position in the whole Peking Opera circle. Lock the Forest Capsule, also known as the Peony Robbery, comes from the book Tan written by the famous playwright Weng Ouhong at 1937 at the request of Cheng. The whole drama 15, premiered at Shanghai Golden Theater in May, 1940. The cast is very rigid: Cheng plays the leading role of Xue Xiangling, and Wu (,), Cao Furong (,) and Liu Binkun () are supporting roles. The play premiered in Beijing in April, 194 1, Beijing Chang 'an Theatre. Since then, it has been staged for a long time and has become a representative work of Chengpai Peking Opera. The title of the play "Sorin Capsule" comes from the key props in the title of the play, and Sorin Capsule is the "brocade bag" and "purse" embroidered with Kirin. In the ancient Shandong area of China, before her daughter got married and got into a sedan chair, her mother sent her a purse embroidered with Kirin, which was filled with jewelry, hoping that her daughter would have children early after marriage. This kind of purse brocade bag is also called "lock forest bag". It contains the meaning of Kirin to send a child, which is an ancient blessing method. During the period of the Republic of China, the atmosphere improved, and some literati who frequented the theater began to associate with some popular actors, that is, famous actors. They escaped from reality out of political ambitions or wanted to improve their own dramas, thus making new dramas and rewriting old ones for them. It was during this period that Weng Ouhong met Cheng and began to write plays for Cheng.
