Yunfu, also known as Shicheng, is located on the south bank of the Xijiang River in South China, China, and is the hub connecting the Pearl River Delta and the southwest region. It is a famous tourist scenic city and the famous "Stone Kingdom" in China. Known as "sulfur capital" and "stone capital", it is located in the middle of Yunkai uplift with complex structure and good metallogenic geological conditions. It is one of the important polymetallic mineralization concentration areas in China. Up to 2008, 57 kinds of minerals have been discovered, and 49 kinds of minerals have been proved and mined. Among them, metal minerals are: gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, lead, zinc, manganese and so on. Non-metallic minerals include sillimanite, dolomite, marble, granite, barite, talc, kaolin, limestone, clay, sand shale and potash feldspar.
