Article 3 of the Opinions of the General Administration of Market Supervision on Doing a Good Job in the Registration of E-commerce Operators stipulates that e-commerce operators who apply for registration as individual industrial and commercial households are allowed to register their network business premises as business premises. Those who engage in business activities on more than one e-commerce platform need to register with the registration authority a number of network business places where they engage in business activities.
In other words, individual industrial and commercial households who only engage in network operation cannot rent houses, but use the address of online stores as business premises.
