However, the most famous treasure is about Zhao, the last emperor who escaped in the Song Dynasty.
According to Records of South Australia, in May of the first year of Jingyan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1276), Zhao G proclaimed himself emperor in Fuzhou. Due to the advance of Yuan soldiers, he fled to South Australia with his brother in June of 5438+0 1 and built a palace in the east of Aoqian Village. The Prince Tower was one of the palaces at that time. The entourage also dug three wells in the southeast beach: Longjing for the royal family, Tiger well for the civil and military officials, and Horse well for the military and horses.
After the little emperor Zhao G and his younger brother Zhao M fled to Nan 'ao Island, they saw the pursuers approaching step by step. Before leaving, they decided to leave some of their gold and silver jewelry on Nan 'ao Island and carve words on the stone wall near the treasure house for future search.
Unfortunately, the little emperor finally threw himself into the sea under the pursuit of the yuan army, and the treasure has become an eternal mystery.
The Annals of Nan 'ao also records that the emperor lived in Nan 'ao Island for 15 days at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, and it was in the Prince's Mansion. This coincides with the folklore, because the legendary treasure is in a pile of huge stones dozens of meters away from the Prince Building. But in order to get the treasure in the boulder, we must decipher the words on this group of cliff stone carvings.
Locals say that when the Song royal family left the island, there were treasures hidden in the stone room. If someone can read the words on the stone wall and explain its meaning, the stone wall will open automatically and the treasure inside will belong to him. Nowadays, due to the age and serious erosion of the stone wall, there are always 35 big characters left on the boulder, and the handwriting is incomplete, illegible and almost illegible. After vicissitudes of life, the treasure hidden in the Prince's Mansion has never been taken away.
