When jade is broken, it should be coated with epoxy resin or polyvinyl acetate emulsion for bonding, and the missing part can be repaired by plastic carving with epoxy resin mixed with talcum powder or by turnover bonding. In order to make the color consistent, artificial pigment can be added to the filler or colored after repair. Small defects or shedding on the surface of utensils can be filled with wax sealing coloring materials and polished with soft yellow polishing agent.
