"Eight Dragons", also known as "Eight Dragons" and "Eight People", are terms derived from Buddhist scriptures. When many Mahayana Buddhist scriptures describe the Buddha's views on bodhisattvas and monks, eight dragons often participate in listening to the dharma. For example, "Hokkekyo: The Taste of the Buddha": "Eight dragons, inhuman people, all saw the dragon girl become a Buddha from a distance".
"Non-human" actually looks like a person, but it is not a person. Dragon and Eight Branches are all "non-human", including eight kinds of Shinto monsters. Because the "sky crowd" and "dragon crowd" are the most important, they are called "Tianlong Babu". Eight people, one day, two dragons, three witches, four Gandawas, five Asura, six Goruda, seven Kinnara and eight Mohologa.
"Heavenly crowd" and "Heaven" refer to "gods", including the Great Burning Heaven, Indra Heaven, Four Heavenly Kings and Wei Tuo. In 20 famous protector days. In Buddhism, the status of gods is not supreme, but they can enjoy greater and more lasting blessings than people. Buddhism believes that everything is impermanent, and the gods will die after their lives are over. Before the immortal died, there were five symptoms: dirty clothes, withered flowers on his head, smelly body, sweating under his armpits, and sitting fast (the fifth symptom was "Yu Zi leaving"), which was the so-called "Five Decades between Heaven and Man", which was the greatest sorrow of the immortal. Emperor Shi is the leader of the gods.
The "Dragon" in "Dragon" is similar to the legendary "Dragon King" or "Dragon" in China, but it has no feet, and some pythons are also called. In fact, China people's ideas about dragons and dragon kings mainly come from Buddhist scriptures. There are five dragon kings, seven dragon kings and eight dragon kings in Buddhist scriptures. The ancient Indians respected the dragon very much and thought it was the most powerful main object in the water. Therefore, people with noble virtues are honored as "dragon elephants" and "dragons come from the west", which means monks from the west. Ancient Indians believed that rain was caused by dragons taking water from the sea and sprinkling it on the ground. China people also accept this statement, and the calendar indicates how many dragons take water, indicating the rainfall this year. Among the dragon kings, there is a dragon king named Shakiro. When he and his youngest daughter were eight years old, they went to the spiritual jiusan mentioned by Sakyamuni and turned into male bodies, showing the appearance of Buddha. When she became a Buddha, she was taken by Tianlong Babu.

Vimalakīrti Jing notes: "Why:' There are three kinds of witches: one is on the ground, the other is in the air, and the third is a witch. ""Now when we say' hag', we all mean evil spirits. However, in Buddhist scriptures, there are many good eight women whose task is to "safeguard the world of all beings".
Gandapa, also known as the "fragrant god", is a god who does not eat wine and meat, but only seeks fragrance for nourishment. It is one of the music gods who specialize in singing folk music and serving Indra, and it exudes a strong fragrance. "Gandapa" means "unpredictable" in Sanskrit, the magician is also called "Gandapa", and the mirage is called "Gandapa City". The aroma and music are vague and elusive.
The Shinto of Asura is very special. Men are extremely ugly and women are extremely beautiful. Because there are beautiful women but no food, and Qin Shihuang has food but no beautiful women, he often leads troops to fight with Qin Shihuang. They are jealous and rob each other. Every time there is fierce fighting, they are always turned upside down. It is for this reason that we often refer to the big battlefield where the bodies were bombed everywhere as the "Xiuluo Field". As a result of the war, Asura was often defeated and had nowhere to run, so he became an incarnation and sneaked into the silk hole of the lotus root. Asura King is short-tempered, stubborn and jealous. Sakyamuni said "four thoughts", and King Asura also said "five thoughts"; Sakyamuni said "thirty-seven products", and King asura added another product, "thirty-eight products". Fairy tales in Buddhist scriptures are mostly metaphors. Asura King has great power and ability. He likes to do things like "I don't believe in evil" and "The more chaotic the world is, the better". Asura is also very skeptical. On Great Wisdom Volume 35: "Asura always doubted Buddhism and said that Buddhism helped heaven. The Buddha said' five groups', that is, there are six groups, not one; When you say' four truths', that means there are five truths, and you don't say a word. " "Five Masses" are five connotations, and four truths are the basic concepts in Buddhism. After listening to the Buddha's statement, Asura suspected that the Buddha was partial to the emperor's explanation and deliberately said less.
"Goruda" refers to the "Golden Winged Bird God". This is a big bird, its wings are all kinds of solemn and precious colors, and there is a big tumor on its head, which is a wishful pearl. The bird sings sadly and feeds on dragons. The old department said that Yue Fei was reincarnated as a "Dapeng Golden Winged Bird", and Goluda was a Dapeng Golden Winged Bird, eating a dragon and 500 dragons every day. At the end of its life, all the people vomited poison and couldn't eat any more, so they flew up and down seven times and flew to the top of the diamond wheel. Because it feeds on dragons (serpents) all its life, it stores a lot of poisonous gas in its body and sets itself on fire when it dies. After the pulp is burned, only one heart is left, which is pure blue glaze color.
"Kinnara" is a god of songs and a musician who plays French music. In Sanskrit, it means "people are not human". He has the same shape as a man, except that he has a horn on his head, so he is called "a man is not a sage". He can sing and dance well, and he is the music god of Shi Di.
