Hubei Jewellery Institute is a teaching and scientific research unit focusing on vocational education of jewelry. In 2003, it cooperated with GIG to set up the GIG Gem Appraiser Certificate course. On the basis of studying the theory and skills of modern international gemmology, we set up our own gemmology course, and constructed the GIG series gemmology system, which trained and transported a large number of professional jewelers, jewelers, jewelers and senior talents in luxury goods management for the jewelry industry. Since 2003, 1200 people have obtained the practicing certificate of GIG Gem Appraiser, and 508 people have won the honorary title of Gem Expert. The college headquarters is located in the library building of Hankou Campus of China Geo University.
Pearl Treasure Education Group also serves as the director of Hubei Chinese Culture Promotion Association, the president of jewelry branch of Hubei Art Collectors Association and the vice president of Wuhan Arts and Crafts Association.
Academic core:
1. Gemstone Laboratory is built according to CMA and CNAS standards in China, and it conducts third-party jewelry testing and appraisal for units and individuals, and issues appraisal certificates.
2. With the authorization of GIG, GIG can issue professional certificates of diamond grader, jadeite appraiser, colored gems appraiser and white jade appraiser, and can participate in the appraisal. GIG was awarded the honorary title.
3. It is the only study and examination center of China Jewelry Industry Association (GAC) in Central China, and is authorized to issue the professional qualification certificate of GAC China Gem Appraiser.
4. Entrusted by the National Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the teaching plan and examination paper of jewelry series vocational training were compiled. Approve and participate in the evaluation of national professional qualification certificates for gem inspectors, jewelry designers, gem grinders and appraisers.
