The courses and training for the grading examination include the basic theory of gemology, relevant laws and regulations, professional knowledge of gemology, gem identification and diamond identification and grading. In the exam, the first two are closed-book exams and the last two are practice.
Having passed the qualification certification of an assistant gemstone appraiser; Graduates with graduate degree or above or equivalent; Bachelor degree or above or equivalent and engaged in related work for more than one year; College degree or above or equivalent and engaged in related work for more than two years.
Application conditions. To obtain a secondary school degree in jewelry and jade (including geology), you must be engaged in jewelry and jade appraisal and inspection for 5 years. Non-professional technical secondary school education, must be engaged in professional work for 7 years.
