operational approach
0 1
Jade, also called jadeite jade, is known as the "king of jadeite". It originally refers to a bird called jade. Its coat color is very beautiful, usually blue, green, red, brown and other colors. Generally, the male of this bird is red, called Fei, and the female is green, called Cui. Many friends often ask how to identify the quality of jadeite. Today, Bian Xiao will introduce six standards to you, hoping to help you.
There are six criteria to identify jadeite, namely "color, transparency, uniformity, shape, percussion and luster".
1. Jade texture
The whole piece of jade is rarely colored, and most of it is alternately colored and less and less. The colorless place of jadeite is called "floor board" by people in the industry. The floor board is not necessarily white, but has gray, yellow, black, blue, purple, lake, blue and other colors. A good jade should not only be planted well, but also have the contrast of floor and color.
At present, in the theoretical circle, many people confuse the concepts of species and land, and think that species is land, which is not in line with traditional jade culture. Traditionally, the concept of species is obviously different. Species refers to the maturity of jade, which can be divided into old and young, and ground refers to the color background, which can be divided into clean, delicate or dirty, coarse and fine. People once described "species" as the "bone" of jade. The customary classification methods of jadeite glutinous rice are as follows: (1) According to the color of glutinous rice, glutinous rice with uniform hue and colorless roots is divided into green-eyed land, blue-sunny land, red-spring land, lotus-spring land, eggplant-spring land, gray land and yellow-wrong land. The dull blue-gray jargon is called cat urine or urine spray, and there are oil green and watermelon. (2) Image classification: For example, glassy land is called glass land, glassy land is called ice land, and others are bean land, vegetable land, excrement land, rice soup land, porcelain land, taro land, egg white land and water land. (c) The coarse and fine meat is called "rough horse scattered land", and the grain size is vertically staggered as "rough horse scattered land"; If the stone flower is large and has obvious flying wing shape, it is called "fine horse scattered on the ground"; The loose and fragile structure is called "foundation"; If the jade is good, it is called "wax land". (d) The clean, delicate and dirty jadeite floor shall be delicate and clean, and shall not contain impurities such as rust, tinea, cotton, stains, bone marrow or bagasse. Too many impurities are called "dirty land species" or "mixed land species", and the price of dirty land species is very low.

2. Jade head
The water head is the transparency of jadeite. Jade with good transparency is called water, slightly enough, and poor transparency is called poor water or mixed water. There is a saying in history that it is very water. Many people think that jadeite pieces with a certain thickness are covered with fonts or patterns on paper and illuminated with lights to see their visibility. The thickness is a little water. The original intention of the older generation to say that it is very watery is not recorded and cannot be verified. But from a practical point of view, it is very rare to cover a piece of jade in three parts on paper. What has happened is not to mention the brightness of fonts and the intensity of lighting. This view is metaphysical and can be understood in this way. It's a vague concept, very good and perfect. This is not a definition. Whether the most transparent jade is called ten according to its transparency and then gradually reduced according to its grade remains to be discussed.

3. The color of jadeite
The green color of jadeite can reach the gem level. According to its depth, shallowness, richness, lightness, uniformity, brilliance, lightness and freshness, the older generation classified it as Wang Lvying. Rare, emerald green is close to emerald, white tooth hall is planted with various colors, golden thread is planted in the hall, jade is green and even, Luo is green and bright, and the water is short. Other emeralds are water green, colored beans and boxwood are water green. As the saying goes, "There are ten million kinds of precious stones and ten million kinds of jade". Common colors are green, blue and red, as well as gray, yellow, black, blue, purple and lake. Traditionally, green is called emerald and red is called Fei. Green is loved by jewelry lovers because of its exquisite and delicate style, so the amount and depth of jade green is the decisive factor in jade valuation.
The color of jadeite varies widely, which is closely related to species, land and water, and the width of the scale varies from person to person. In a word, there are no two jades with exactly the same or similar colors. It should be said that a piece of jade has one color, and even the same piece of jade has several colors. Therefore, it is impossible to set strict grading standards for the classification of jadeite colors like diamonds. We can only judge the color grade correctly according to the accumulated experience of practitioners, their market demand and technical effects.

4. Stone particles of jadeite
Stone grain refers to the texture existing in jadeite, but it is difficult to judge from the appearance. Most jadeite is produced by internal stress in the geological process of early formation, and it is often filled and healed by minerals in the later geological process, so it is generally closed. Stone lines are easy to recognize in transmitted light, but not obvious in reflected light. The stone grain of jadeite has little effect on the durability and firmness of jadeite.
05
5. Cracks in jadeite
Cracks are damage that reaches the surface of jadeite. It may be a shear or tensile crack formed by stress in geological process, which is not healed by minerals in the later stage, or it may be that the stone is damaged during mining, processing or decoration. But no matter which way it is formed, as long as jadeite has such cracks that can be observed under white light reflection, its value will at least decrease by 1/3. Any texture that can be obviously hindered by scraping with nails on some polished jadeite surfaces can be regarded as cracks.
About choice
0 1
Jade is the favorite gem of China people. It has been regarded as an auspicious thing since ancient times and has the magic power to ward off evil spirits. Jadeite is one of the rarest and most expensive jadeite varieties. Nowadays, various ornaments, handicrafts and jewels made of jadeite are loved by many art collectors and consumers in China. Jade ornaments are different from ordinary industrial products, there are almost no identical jadeites, the quality and price are quite different, and there is no accurate basis for their prices. Therefore, the determination of jade price almost depends on the individual's comprehensive judgment of jade quality and market price characteristics at that time. At the same time, there are some fakes or substitutes in the jewelry market, which requires consumers to have a certain ability to identify jadeite. According to statistics, the number of jadeite purchased by online shopping and physical stores in China reaches several hundred million each year, but nine times out of ten, it is basically shoddy. Except for the three jade brands, it is basically difficult for ordinary buyers to buy truly superior jade A goods. Although the purchase of jade jewelry is a combination of experience and specialty, ordinary consumers can easily buy jade jewelry that suits their needs and is affordable when they systematically study and master relevant knowledge.
1 and color
The color of jade is the most intuitive feeling of jade, so it must look good. Emerald is the mainstream of people's choice, especially Wanglv, which is bright in color and good in quality, is a very important variety of jade, but it should be noted that although emerald is attractive, if the green is too dark, it will make people feel dim. In fact, in addition to green, Hong Fei, yellow jadeite and purple jadeite are all emerging jadeites, and their excellent quality can be compared with green jadeite.
02
2. Pass
Transparency has a great influence on the value of jadeite. Transparent jade gives people a cool feeling, while opaque jade, no matter how green and tender the color, gives people a dull feeling and lacks vivid aesthetic feeling. Usually transparent jade is called "glass seed", translucent jade is called "ice seed" and opaque jade is called "hibiscus seed" or "taro seed".
03
3, even number
Uniformity here refers to the degree of color uniformity. Generally speaking, the uniformity of color is directly proportional to the numerical value. Generally, the price difference between all green jade and some green jade is several digits. In addition, the distribution position of jadeite color also has a great relationship. In most cases, a little green in the conspicuous place is naturally more pleasing to the eye than the green distributed on the edge.
04
4. Form
Jade is not priced by weight like other gems, mainly by size and thickness, but jade is not priced by weight like other gems, and jade is mainly priced by size and thickness. Generally speaking, the bigger and thicker the jade, the more valuable it is, while the smaller and thinner the jade, the less expensive it is. In addition, the shape of jadeite is also very important. Generally, jadeite will attract consumers if its shape is auspicious.
05
Step 5 knock
Tapping is a method to identify jadeite. Generally, a good jadeite will sound crisp when it is knocked. Moreover, if the jade itself is flawed, then this is a special way to choose jade bracelets. When the jade is good, the sound is crisp. If the jade itself has flaws, such as cracks, cavities or local deterioration, the sound will be different. That kind of feeling is like beating defeat, and the sound becomes a "click" sound.
06
6. According to
Generally, when you pick up jade and observe it under strong light, you can see its luster and flaws at a glance. Sometimes jade that looks perfect on the surface can only expose its flaws under strong light. Moreover, taking this photo can also test whether this jade is dyed. Generally, whether the color is natural can be judged according to the distribution of jadeite color, but this method requires some experience.
07
7. Price
This method is very simple, that is, we usually say that cheap goods are not good, and good goods are not cheap. As the saying goes, "value for money", especially in the jewelry industry. If you find that the price of jadeite with beautiful appearance is very low when you buy jadeite, then the first reaction is that there is something wrong with these jadeites. Generally, most cheap goods are fake, such as artificially processing the color of jadeite to make it look gorgeous. Such jadeite may have a great influence on the human body after wearing it. It's better for consumers not to be deceived because they are cheap, which is not worth the candle.
Special tips
To identify the quality of jadeite, we should comprehensively consider the above five factors. If there is no reality, we often feel that we can't start. I suggest you find someone who understands it to help you evaluate it first.
