Metal and Jewelry Design is one of the oldest courses in sheffield hallam university, which can be traced back to 1843, when the Sheffield College of Art and Design, the predecessor of the university, was founded. Therefore, the change of this stadium also reflects the change of Sheffield's history and tradition. It has become a world-class design center for metal jewelry, silverware products, tableware, knife industry, precious metals and steel products. The school will hold an open day on Easter in October and April every year. Students who apply for art design courses can also bring some works that they think are good to discuss with the school teachers and how to prepare for the interview of applying for courses.
