At present, the institutions that can issue jade appraisal certificates in China are generally jewelry appraisal service institutions, which are established by the State Quality Supervision Bureau or the Jewelry Association, as well as companies with appraisal qualifications.
Usually, English abbreviations often appear on certificates: NGTC (usually called national inspection) and NJQSIC (usually called first inspection). These two are very authoritative appraisal institutions, namely the National Jewelry Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Jewelry Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
