Guangdong People's Gold, Silver and Jewelry Testing Center is a provincial jewelry testing institution approved by the bank and authorized by Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision. It has passed the rigorous evaluation and examination of metrological certification, examination and acceptance and national laboratory accreditation. It is the jewelry quality dispute inspection unit designated by the Provincial Consumer Council and the 15 professional skill appraisal station approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. It is an impartial third-party gold, silver and jewelry inspection laboratory. The report and certificate issued by it have legal effect, and the test results are internationally recognized.

The main duties of the center are: to undertake the tasks of regular inspection, supervision and spot check of jewelry products issued by the state and the province, to undertake the formulation, revision and promulgation of jewelry product quality standards, to undertake entrusted inspection, consumer dispute inspection and arbitration inspection of jewelry product quality, and to carry out vocational skills training and appraisal for inspectors and sales personnel of gold, silver and jewelry enterprises.
