Hubei Jewelry Institute, located in the library building of Hankou Campus of China Geo University, is a teaching and research unit centered on jewelry vocational education. In 2003, through cooperation with GIG, GIG Gem Appraiser Certificate course was opened. On the basis of learning the theory and skills of modern international gemmology, we set up our own gemmology course, and constructed the GIG series gemmology teaching system, which trained and brought up a large number of professional jewelers, jewelers, jewelers and senior talents in luxury goods management for the jewelry industry. Since 2003, 1200 people have obtained the practicing certificate of GIG Gem Appraiser, and 508 people have won the honorary title of Gem Expert. The college also has "Jade Carving Master Studio of Hubei Jewelry Institute" and "Hubei Jewelry Institute (province and city) teaching service station".
