Located in Shangcheng District of Hangzhou, Imperial Street in Southern Song Dynasty is a main street in Lin 'an, the capital of Southern Song Dynasty. According to documents such as An Zhi in Xian Chunlin, more than 10,000 stone slabs were used to pave the Imperial Street in the Southern Song Dynasty, but only sweet cake bricks were found in previous archaeological excavations.
2. Zhongshan Road
Zhongshan Road in Hangzhou is divided into Zhongshan North Road, Zhongshan Middle Road and Zhongshan South Road. Zhongshan Middle Road used to be the Imperial Street of that year, and still retains more than a dozen old brands such as Fang Yuhe, Zhuangyuan Pavilion, Gaoyitai, Jiuzhizhai, Bianfumao, Yu Fengxiang and Jiang Nanchun.
Zhongshan Road connects Fengshan Road in the south and Hedong Road in the north of Zhao Hui Road. The Drum Tower and Zhong 'an Bridge are respectively called Zhongshan South Road, Middle Road and North Road. The emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty went to Jingling Palace to worship his ancestors, and it was named Yujie Street (from Heningmen in the south, Tianshui Yuanqiao in the north and Wanshou Pavilion in the west).
3. Qinghefang
Qinghefang has been the prosperous area of Hangzhou since ancient times. To the east of Xingong Bridge in Hefang Street is the site of Deshou Palace, the bedroom of Song Gaozong in the Southern Song Dynasty. Zhang Jun's mansion, which was named King of Qinghe County in the Southern Song Dynasty, was called Taiping Lane in Yujie at that time, so this area was named Qinghefang.
In the Southern Song Dynasty, Qinghefang was a political and cultural center and a gathering place for Hang Cheng businessmen, with many shops, restaurants and tea shops. After Yuan, Ming, Qing and the Republic of China until the early liberation, this area was still a prosperous business district in Hang Cheng.
Hangzhou's century-old shops, such as Wang, Wan Long Ham Stack, Hu Qingyu Hall, Fang Huichun Hall, Ye Zhongde Hall, Baohetang, Zhuangyuantang, Wang Runxing, Yiyuan Jindian, Jingyangguan and mutton soup kitchen, are all concentrated in this area. Zhu Bingren Bronze Sculpture Art Museum is an important cultural and artistic exhibition point in Qinghefang Street.
4. Hefang Street
Hefang Street, located at the foot of Wu Shan, is a part of Qinghe Square. It belongs to the old city of Hangzhou, starting from Jiangcheng Road in the east, passing through Guo Dejian South Road, Zhonghe Middle Road, Zhongshan Middle Road, Huaguang Road and Laodong Road to Nanshan Road in the northwest of Vietnam, with a length of 1.800 meters. Wushan Square to Zhongshan Middle Road is a pedestrian street with green stone pavement, with a road width of13m, and other roads with a width of 32m.
The "Four Corners of Qinghefang", which used to intersect with Zhongshan Road, has become a well-known area since the Republic of China, with Kong Fengchunxiang Powder Shop, Midachang Dry Cigarette Shop, Wanlong Ham Shop and Zhang Yun Shengmaozhuang each occupying a corner. Hang Cheng's famous "Five Hangs" (Hangfen, Hang Jian, Hangfan, Hangyan and Hangxian) are all here.
5. Ching Tai Street
Qingtai Street in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province starts from Huancheng East Road in the east and ends at Zhongshan Middle Road in the west, opposite Kaiyuan Road. In the Southern Song Dynasty, the gate of Chengtou Lane was called Chongxin Gate, because there was a recommendation bridge on the Yanqiao River, which was directly called Chongxin Street and Recommendation Bridge Street, also called Xinnan Lane.
The old snail mouth and snail bridge outside Qingtai Gate are also called snail gate. Hang Yan has a saying that "the screw crosses the grass bridge door". Since ancient times, the Yangtze River has been a place for boiling brine to make salt, so there is a saying among the people that "salt bears outside the snail door". Qinqiao in Qingtaimen has been a prosperous market since the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Merchants from the western regions set up shops in the jewelry lane in the west to buy and sell gold and silver jewelry.

There are simply too many scenic spots. Moreover, our time is different and we need different sightseeing routes, so we should plan our trip to Hangzhou because there are many local attractions.
Only when you make a plan can you have fun, so Bian Xiao thinks it is necessary to make a plan. Travel will make us happy and let us see many scenery that we have never seen before, which is the main reason why everyone likes to travel. However, some friends will pay attention to what Hangzhou eats. After all, playing ball also consumes our physical strength. Only when you are full will you be happier. After all, eating, drinking and having fun is a major event in your trip, and you can't do without it. Today, Bian Xiao is going to introduce the delicious food in Hangzhou. Come and watch it with me.
In the evening, Hangzhou really began to get busy, especially some snack streets. It's still early, and we are going out to see the night view of Hangzhou. You will see tables and chairs outside, as well as seafood and unique meat flavor. In summer, beer is indispensable. After drinking a cup, it seems that most of the fatigue is gone in an instant. Here, we feel cordial.
This is what Bian Xiao said today. This street in Hangzhou is called "Zhongshan Road Food Street". It is said that the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty once came here. Also known as "Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street Chinese Food Night Market", it is only open at night. This is why this street is famous. A long time ago, all the people who lived here were locals. Everyone thought there was no food street, so they specially opened this old street. Another feature of it is that it is really lively at night.
The total length of Zhongshan Road Food Street is about 1.400 meters. Almost all local food can be seen here. You can see very tall and high-standard hotels and some very cheap shops, including some food stalls. In the past, there were some food stalls here, but with the construction of the street, it became a food street.
What you must eat here is the local beggar chicken. It is said that it existed in the Song Dynasty. It was called this name because the people at that time were very poor and could not afford to eat. One day, a beggar was so hungry that he stole a chicken, but he didn't know how to eat it, so he tried it with lotus leaves, but he was afraid that the lotus leaves would not bear fruit, so he put the mud on the fire and roasted it. As a result, he found that the fragrance of lotus leaves blended with chicken, which was delicious. Therefore, this method of making spread, and even once became a royal food. Friends, have you been to the scenic spots in Hangzhou and this food street? Or have you eaten any special food?
