What is a pc board?
The Chinese name of PC board is polycarbonate board. The raw material is extracted from petroleum, and after preliminary processing, it becomes PC (polycarbonate board) particles. After a series of processing, it became what we call PC board (polycarbonate board).
At the beginning, polycarbonate board was mainly used to replace the plastic film on the previous greenhouse. Because it can be used for a long time, it never reduces various expenses caused by long-term replacement, and the installation is simple. Now it can be used in many places, such as carports, awnings, house lighting, stadium roof lighting, waterproof, and can also play a great role in industry (flame retardant, reinforcement, pole = = high transparent perspective version) and mechanical shielding.
The application fields are very wide, including light box panels, mechanical panels, even LED panels, fluorescent tubes/lampshades and so on.
Characteristics of pc board
(1) light transmittance: the maximum light transmittance of PC solar panel can reach 89%, which is equivalent to that of glass. UV coated panels exposed to sunlight will not turn yellow, fog and have poor light transmittance. After ten years, the optical transmission loss is only 10%, the PVC loss is as high as 15%-20%, and the glass fiber loss is as high as 12%-20%.
(2) Impact resistance: the impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass,
The acrylic board with the same thickness is 30 times that of tempered glass and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It has the reputation of "unbreakable glass" and "ringing steel", even if it falls two meters under a 3 kg hammer. (3) Anti-ultraviolet: One side of PC board is covered with anti-ultraviolet (UV) coating, and the other side is treated with anti-condensation, which integrates the functions of anti-ultraviolet, heat insulation and anti-fog. It can block the passage of ultraviolet rays and is suitable for protecting valuable works of art and exhibits from ultraviolet rays.
(4) Light weight: the specific gravity is only half that of glass, which saves the cost of transportation, unloading, installation and support of the frame.
(5) Flame retardancy: National standard GB8624—2006 confirms that PC solar panels are flame retardant. The ignition point of PC board itself is 580℃, which will go out automatically after leaving the fire source, and will not produce toxic gas when burning, which will not promote the spread of fire.
