Why is the jewelry polished so bright?
Jade polishing: generally there are two ways. For bare jade (such as jade bracelet, jade buckle, heart-shaped face-lifting), it is generally polished by hand. For Guanyin, Maitreya and other flowers, the machine is polished.

1. Manual grinding: use 600 #- 1200 # sandpaper to grind, first install a diamond bit on the electric tool to decorate the jade, and then carefully repair it with a diamond assorted file. Use circular sandpaper (made of coarse sand and fine sand) to polish a large area. * Polishing a large area with a circular cloth wheel with polishing paste. * Use a felt grinding head to apply polishing paste for detailed polishing. It can also be polished directly with a rubber grinding head. Finally, 1200 sandpaper can be used for manual polishing, and then diamond powder can be used for fine polishing.

2. Machine polishing: a small barrel polishing machine for jewelry and jade. There are rough throws and fine throws. Buy triangular bead polishing particles, luminescent powder, and grind and polish powder for a while to achieve a mirror effect.

3. Emerald polishing: coat a layer of paste polishing powder on the surface, with chromium oxide in green and cerium oxide in orange. Use a 2000-mesh grinding wheel to grind the surface and flatten it. Repeat the first two steps, generally brush twice, coat the jade surface with diamond powder and then throw it out with a hard brush. Fine work, starting from a small place to polish big tools. Use bamboo, dip it in diamond powder, and use bamboo chopsticks for the bigger ones. Bamboo toothpicks will be used in small places. When jadeite is coated with diamond powder, it will be hard-skinned and polished. Then it will be cleaned by ultrasonic machine, and then wiped with alcohol when it is not clean. Then it will be waxed to protect the surface of jadeite products, which can be washed off with boiling water and then dried. A beautiful jade is made.

4. Emerald carving and polishing process-Emerald has high hardness, but it can be carved at will as long as it has diamond or synthetic diamond tools and speed. There are three procedures for polishing until it shines: a. Rough grinding-tools made of emery (1000-2000 mesh) are carefully polished and smooth. B. Fine grinding-grinding with emery (1600-1800 mesh) as above to make it smooth and shiny. C, glazing: repeatedly polishing with polishing powder (3.5 micron diamond powder) dipped in semi-cowhide making tools to make jadeite products bright inside and outside. D. Waxing-Waxing is to prevent water and dirt pollution.
