The National Jewelry and Jade Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (NGTC) under the Ministry of Land and Resources is a state-level jewelry and jade quality inspection institution authorized by law. It has passed the qualification certification (metrological certification and authorization) and laboratory accreditation of the national product quality supervision and inspection institution, and is the authoritative institution for jewelry and jade jewelry inspection in China, and has been designated as the national scientific and technological achievements appraisal institution, import and export commodity inspection laboratory and the designated laboratory of China Consumers Association.

The center has first-class laboratories in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Yunnan. It is the first jewelry testing institution in China to fully realize network management, and it has reached the international leading level in management system and technical strength. The quality policy of the National Inspection Center is scientific, fair, accurate and efficient, and based on the service tenet of quality first, reputation first and service first, it provides good technical services for all walks of life. The National Inspection Center has a strong technical force, equipped with international advanced conventional testing equipment and a variety of large-scale analytical testing instruments, and has a group of technical backbones such as professors, senior engineers, doctors and masters. Most technicians have CGC qualification and other professional qualification certificates issued by relevant institutions at home and abroad, and have rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
