In 2003, The Legend of the Condor Heroes was produced by Huaxia Audiovisual Global Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., directed by Ju Jueliang, Yu Min and starring Li, Zhou Xun, Zhou Jie and Angel. The play tells the story of Guo Jing, a "silly boy", wandering the rivers and lakes with family hatred and national hatred, and finally growing into a "chivalrous man" with the help of Huang Rong, a confidante.

The play tells the story that Guo Jing broke into the Jianghu with family hatred and ethnic vendetta, and finally grew into a "knight-errant" through numerous courses with the help of Huang Rong.
