Zhao Yi Xintiandi national intangible cultural heritage "filigree mosaic" inheritance base, the chief craftsman of Jingyi Bao Master Studio.
Today, master Jingyi Bao, who is nearly 70 years old, has been engaged in the design of jewelry and desk works of art for nearly 50 years. He is the only surviving master of the older generation in the field of craft design in China, and has made great achievements in the inheritance and creative design of "filigree mosaic" technology for many years. In 2008, the Ministry of Culture officially listed the "filigree mosaic technique" as a national intangible cultural heritage, and Master Bai was assessed as the representative inheritor of this technique.
Master Bai's works are innovative, vivid and refined while inheriting the essence of China's traditional culture and art, forming his own unique artistic style. His works have participated in many design competitions and expositions at home and abroad and won many awards. His representative works include: Feng Mingzhong, Jinyu Seismograph, Pepsi Harmony, Ode to Ancestors, etc. Feng Mingzhong, a master's work, won the Best Design Award in 1983 Southeast Asia Diamond Jewelry Design Competition, which is the highest authoritative award for China's filigree mosaic works in the world so far.
In 2009, Zhao Yi Xintiandi Beijing Jewelry Co., Ltd. cooperated with Master Jingyi Bao to establish a national intangible cultural heritage filigree mosaic inheritance base in the world-famous Baoxiaocun Art East District of Songzhuang, Beijing, and devoted itself to the inheritance and development of filigree mosaic skills, so that this long-established China court art classic can regain its vitality, go to the market and enjoy a world-renowned reputation.
