Xinhui District, formerly known as Zhou Gang, is now under the jurisdiction of Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. Located in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta, on the bank of Yinzhou Lake and downstream of Tanjiang River, it is adjacent to Zhongshan in the east, Doumen in the south, Jiangmen and Heshan in the north, Kaiping in the west, Taishan in the southwest, and bordering the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Macao.
