The queen's shell, also called the queen's phoenix snail, is a large edible conch with a shell length of 150-350 mm. They are one of the largest mollusks, native to the western Atlantic from Bermuda to Brazil. They are used to living together, and the number can reach thousands.

The adult shell length of Queen Phoenix snail is 143-264 mm, and the largest recorded one is 35 cm, which is very thick and heavy. There is a very bright and extra-thick outer lip, and there is a "phoenix snail missing" on the outer lip, and the left eye can protrude from it.
Its spiral tower is generally higher than other phoenix snails. The glossy surface of the shell near the shell mouth is mainly pink. This pink is sometimes very light, sometimes it appears milky white, pink and yellow, and even deep red to red. The shell is thin and yellow-brown.
