The new Wuhan Art Museum is the reconstruction and expansion of the former Hankou Jincheng Bank Building.
In 2005, the Wuhan Municipal Government invested nearly 200 million yuan for reconstruction and expansion. According to the function and facilities requirements of the art museum, the new museum is one of the important cultural facilities in Wuhan while retaining the original architectural features.

Wuhan Dujiang Museum is located in Hankou Jiangtan Park, opposite the Jiangtan Flood Control Monument.

Shaw Museum
Shaw Museum of China Geo University is located in the south of the west campus of China Geo University (Wuhan), Lumo Road, Wuhan, on the shore of East Lake in Wuhan and at the foot of Wang Nan Mountain.
Shaw Museum is the first university museum in China recognized as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, one of the top ten museums in Wuhan on 20 17, and an important part of Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area.
The museum has opened six permanent exhibition halls: the mystery of the earth, the origin and evolution of life, minerals and rocks, jewelry and jade, mineral resources and Zhang He's donation.

The prominent red building at the foot of the Yellow Crane Tower is the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911, which can be reached through Zhang Bi Square and the majestic bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen.
