Puyi once rewarded his cousin Pu Jie for transferring a large number of precious calligraphy and painting in the palace to the outside. The calligraphy and paintings that Puyi gave Pu Jie in those years included more than 200 ancient books in Song and Yuan Dynasties and more than 2,000 calligraphy and paintings in Tang and Song Dynasties.
