Deer antler oil is a mineral, which was discovered by a Japanese geologist in the1960s. At present, it is only produced in South Africa, Japan, Canada and the United States. It can be described as a rare gem, also known as the national treasure of South Africa.
As a new gem material in the jewelry market, its gem mineralogy is still blank in the research field. According to the conventional gem test, diorite samples are aggregate jade, mostly blue, purple and brown, with delicate structure. Through the analysis of electron probe and X- ray powder diffraction, it is considered that the main mineral composition of sphalerite sample is sphalerite, and it also contains impurity minerals such as silica muscovite, aegirine and timing.
