In fact, the question that customers are most concerned about is whether it is worth the price. Jade is a deep business, and laymen are afraid of being cheated when buying things, so it is better to speak carefully.
I don't know much about Hetian jade, but I know a little about jade. Take jadeite as an example.
As far as I know, the jadeite texture on the market is mostly beans, oil, green, and even few waxy varieties. But if it is waxy or coarse ice, with a little green, you dare to sell tens of thousands. This is not the net price, in fact, things are not eye-catching. This is a fact, jade sellers should never avoid it.
The most frequently asked by my clients is, why is it so expensive? Is it worth so much money? How much money can you earn here? Is it a product?
Usually I would answer him like this. This is a product, but it's not high-end goods. This is a common material in the market. These hundreds of dollars are sold to carvers. We can make some money, but not much. The really good things are hundreds of thousands or even millions, with high profits, and we only sell what you like.
Then I will introduce him to some modeling significance, then popularize the knowledge of jade planting water, then tell the customer the price grades of different jadeites, and then compare some more expensive and better things than he likes.
General customers shop around and know the price like the back of their hands. I'm relieved to hear you give them an explanation of the real price source.
In addition, don't contradict the customer. Some customers buy things with some wrong ideas. It's ridiculous, but don't contradict him.
For example, some customers say that the greener the jade, the more valuable it is. I'd say it's true. Generally speaking, there is a saying that one point green is ten times worse. Then I showed him something with a big price difference because of its color, and then I showed him something with a similar color but a big price difference because of different kinds of water. He would ask why, so I told him something with water.
Later, some customers became friends, and all my relatives came from me to buy jade as gifts. In fact, my price is not much different from the market price, but my customers trust me and do a lot of business.
