Do all jadeite merchants sell fake jadeite? Is jadeite fake?
Not all jadeite merchants buy fake jadeite. Due to the huge profits of jadeite now, some merchants will buy and sell fake jadeite to make huge profits. But now in the serious jade market, goods B and C are very scarce, especially in regular shops with business licenses. The country is very strict about quality inspection now. Once there are such businesses, you can also call 123 15 to report. Therefore, for the store, the risk of selling fake goods is actually great, and the income is far less than that of a braggart.

Compared with direct counterfeiting, it is the micro-processed jadeite that is really gullible, and there are two more common ones.

The first one is polishing powder. This concept is very confusing, because it does not belong to goods B and C, which is equivalent to putting a layer of colored powder on the surface when polishing, so that the color of jadeite itself will not be deepened, re-polished or taken away for cooking. According to the day, it is considered as A goods, but it is wrapped in polishing powder and can't get the certificate (Yunnan). Where there is color, take a magnifying glass or look carefully to see if there are many points and powder collections on the surface.

The second one is Redjade. Many people have heard of the explanation of Jade. The red one is Fei and the green one is Cui. But there are really few jade reds. What should I do? Bake the yellow one into red. This is not easy to issue a certificate. Yunnan institutions will not open it at all, and Guangdong will indicate that it has been handled. But it is also a commodity in essence. If you don't care, it doesn't matter. If you care about pure nature, you should pay attention to the bright color of jade. Jade experts certainly don't like this kind, and novices should pay more attention to it.

Do you have fake jade?

Jade, as the king of jade, is one of the seven gems in the world jewelry industry, and also represents the high-grade jewelry in the East. Emerald's expensive price, colorful colors, gorgeous and steady tones, and the reputation of lucky gems all exude attractive mystery.

Because of the value of jadeite, there are many jadeites on the market, but among many jadeites, there are also many fake jadeites to deceive some newcomers. Therefore, you must keep your eyes open when buying jade to avoid buying fake jade.

How to identify fake jadeite

1, look at the color root of jadeite

Generally speaking, natural jadeites, especially green jadeites, all have color roots. The color root is actually a place where the emerald green is very strong, and then the green will spread around along the emerald color root. Under the transmission of strong light, the green color of jadeite will fade or disappear in some places, but the color root of jadeite is still green. Treated jadeite or other jadeite has no color root.

Step 2 weigh this jade

Usually, the density of jadeite itself will be relatively high. When identifying jadeite, you can put it in your hand and move it up and down a few times. If you feel heavy downward pressure, it may be real jade. Holding fake jade in your hand is generally a faint feeling, and you can't feel the downward pressure. For medium-sized jadeite, this is a good identification method.

3. Observe the fluorescence of jadeite

Usually, natural jadeite has natural color, uneven distribution and no fluorescence. However, artificially treated jadeite can see reticular lines under reflected light, and jadeite filled with epoxy resin will fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Some dyed jadeites will turn blue-gray and look unnatural. Real jadeite feels smooth by hand and looks shiny in the sun. The pattern inside is also exquisite, which has a cool feeling. False jadeite will feel rough when touched by hand, the surface is not very smooth, the color is dim, and there may be bubbles inside.

4. Compare the hardness of jadeite.

As we all know, natural green jadeite has a high hardness. The Mohs hardness of jadeite is between 6.5 and 7, which is higher than that of glass. If you scrape the surface of jade with a sharp tool, it really feels smooth and won't leave scratches; However, the treated jadeite will leave obvious scratches on its surface after scraping because its structure is destroyed.
