What is Kawasaki (Xiuyu, Xinjiang)
Chuanshi, also known as Xinjiang Xiuyu, is a kind of stone commonly used to imitate Hetian jade, and its composition is similar to serpentine. Kangwa Stone is also written in the textbook of Wuhan Jewelry College, but Kawashi is more accurate in pronunciation. Kawa means pumpkin in Uighur, and it also means silly in slang. Kawasaki refers to a serpentine pebble (seed material) many years ago. It is similar to the seed material of Hetian jade in color, often with skin color and smooth surface, much like the skin of Hetian pumpkin.

Kawasaki stone has almost no exact meaning. If it is white Kawasaki stone, it may be quartzite, marble, serpentine jade, dolomite, etc. Black kava stone may be black serpentine jade, black volcanic rock, flint rock, black siliceous rock, etc. Yellow Kawasaki stone may be yellow quartzite, marble, dolomite, serpentine jade, etc. At present, the Kawasaki reserves in Xinjiang are estimated to be several billion tons.

The difference between Kawasaki stone and white jade;

Rough texture (large pores, lack of delicate feeling after getting started).

There is no oiliness (it looks dry, although sometimes merchants will confuse the visual effect with polishing, but the internal oiliness can't be done).

The density is slightly smaller (Hetian jade with the same volume is pressed, and Sichuan stone is lighter).
