Plot: Nathan Conrad (michael douglas) is a famous psychiatrist in new york who specializes in the psychological problems of teenagers. He has a warm family of three. The story begins with the kidnapping of his daughter. The kidnapper threatened his daughter's life and asked him to do one thing within seven days: cure a mental patient. He must race against time to save his daughter from the kidnappers.
