Note: stl is commonly used in general 3D printing slicing software, which is compatible with many software versions and does not need to be converted.
To make 3D printers support multi-formats, we can start with printing management software, and there is no way to change it in essence except programming or software authors releasing new versions. We can only start from the outside and convert other 3D formats into stl formats. For example, we can download some conversion software for conversion, or we can save 3D software in this format as stl, such as dwg format of CAD. Just open it in CAD and save it in stl format. If there is no CAD, we can also open it with other 3D software, such as 3DS conversion, so that the 3D printer can print the model normally.
