Diablo II is looking for a "Chiradik's Box" in ACT2, which is the tool of synthesis. Gems always explode, but three of the same variety and grade can be synthesized into more advanced ones, such as "broken emeralds", and three can be synthesized into one "cracked emeralds".
The language of runes is equipped with a whiteboard as porous as possible, using rune stones. Different rune stones can be combined to get BT attributes. Rune stone falls from the monster.
