Because the materials of the appraisal project are different, the appraisal materials needed will be different, and the appraisal institutions will be different, so there is no completely unified format for the jewelry and jade appraisal certificate. But generally speaking, the appraisal certificate must have the following basic contents.
The authenticity appraisal of the jewelry certificate is as follows:
1. Look at the identification mark on the jewelry certificate.
The most important thing of a jewelry certificate is the following "seal", that is, there are several marks. What do they stand for?
(1)CMA, namely China Metrology Certification. This is the basic requirement of national laws for testing and inspection institutions, in other words, it is necessary on all testing certificates. Only the third-party testing organization that has obtained the qualified certificate is allowed to use CMA seal on the testing report. The inspection report stamped with CMA seal can be used for production and quality evaluation, results and judicial appraisal, and has legal effect.
(2) CAL is the abbreviation of China Inspection Laboratory.
This is the certification mark of quality supervision and inspection institutions and the authoritative mark granted by the state. (Authorized, with law enforcement power)
CAL is an administrative act authorized or established by the quality and technical supervision department to undertake the inspection of output, quality and quantity according to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, reasonably planning and defining the scope of inspection tasks, and allowing it to undertake the statutory inspection of output, quality and quantity after evaluating its notarization and technical capabilities. To put it simply, it is this sign that can be used as evidence for a ruling in the event of a dispute.
(3) ilac-MRA stands for international laboratory accreditation cooperation. The predecessor of international laboratory accreditation cooperation is the International Laboratory Accreditation Conference, which was established in 1977.
At present, China has signed mutual recognition agreements with 35 quality management system certification and environmental management system certification and accreditation bodies in other countries and regions, and with 54 laboratory accreditation bodies in other countries and regions.
(4)CNAS, short for China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment.
China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration in accordance with the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Certification and Accreditation, and is responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories and inspection institutions. Simply put, we call it "domestic mutual recognition standard".
Any of the above four signs is valid!
In particular, the first mark CMA is the basic requirement of national laws for testing and inspection institutions. Without this sign, there is no right to issue a jewelry appraisal certificate. The lowest appraisal institution only needs this mark, that is to say, as long as it has the right to test, it has no arbitration right.
If there are none of these four signs, there is a 99% chance that you have a false certificate.
2. Look at the certificate seal
Generally, domestic certificates must be stamped with the steel seal of the appraisal institution when they are made, but not necessarily abroad.
If the jewelry photos on the certificate are printed electronically, then the steel seal does not need to be pressed; If the photo is pasted, the steel seal must hold down the picture.
3. "Certificate" photo comparison
The jewelry appraisal agency will take photos of the jewelry and jade you sent, and finally print them on the certificate, but sometimes it is not clear. First of all, you can compare your jewelry with the pictures on the certificate, including whether the overall appearance, color, main stone, matching stone and inlaid part are consistent; Secondly, some certificates indicate the size of bare stones or finished products. You can find a ruler to measure whether the real thing matches.
Step 4 measure it with a scale
Jewelry is generally light, and the weight on the certificate will be accurate to two decimal places, and the unit is g, so we must find an electronic scale with high precision and small error to weigh the jewelry to see if it is consistent with the label on the certificate.
5. Log on to the official website.
At present, official website (or QR code) is generally written on the front or back of the appraisal certificate. However, in order to avoid the "supporting" website mentioned in the opening small series, we can ignore the website of the appraisal institution on the certificate, find the correct appraisal institution official website through online search, and enter the serial number of the appraisal certificate to check the authenticity.
(PS: It will take several days for official website to find a certificate issued by a general appraisal institution. )
6. Check the signatures of inspectors and approvers.
The appraisers and appraisers of jade and jadeite shall sign by hand, not by computer. Therefore, if it is found that the examiner and the examiner are typing with computers, most of them are false certificates.
7. Scan QR code
When buying jewelry, you can scan the QR code on the certificate and the real identification certificate. After scanning the code, the following screen will appear. The QR code of the fake certificate cannot be scanned, or the product is different.
