Introduce the information of Sai Jinhua, a famous prostitute in Qing Dynasty.
Among many famous prostitutes in the late Qing Dynasty, Sai Jinhua should be the most legendary one. In addition to "Evil Sea Flower", which ranks among the "four condemned novels in the late Qing Dynasty", there are many notes and novels about her story.

According to relevant historical data, the experiences of Jinhua people in history are as follows:

Formerly known as Fu, also known as Yancheng, Jiangsu, born about 1872. When I was young, I was sold to Suzhou and became a prostitute in the so-called "flower boat". 1887 (Guangxu 13), it happened that Hong Jun, the top criminal scholar, returned to his hometown to observe filial piety and fell in love with Cai Yun at first sight. My concubine is 48 years old and Fu Cai 15 years old. Soon, Hong Jun was appointed as the ambassador to Russia, Germany, Austria and Holland. His original wife was afraid of Chinese and foreign customs, so she gave her clothes to Cai Yun and ordered her to accompany Hong Jun abroad. He returned to China with Jun Hong in the early 1990s, and Hong died soon after. 1894, Fu bid farewell to Hong Jialing's coffin and fled to Shanghai for prostitution on his way back to the Soviet Union, and changed his name to "Cao Menglan". Later, I went to Tianjin and changed my name to "Sai Jinhua". /kloc-when Eight-Nation Alliance captured Beijing in 0/900, she lived as a prostitute in Stone Hutong, Beijing. She had contact with some German officers and changed her men's clothes to visit the West Garden of the Imperial Garden (now Zhongnanhai). 1903 died in prison for abusing a young girl in Beijing, and went to Shanghai after returning to Suzhou. He lived in poverty in his later years and died in Beijing from 65438 to 0936.

Today, judging from some existing old photos, Sai Jinhua herself is not amazing. It is only because of her unusual experience that she has become the protagonist of a series of legendary stories.

Being able to marry the number one scholar is an unusual experience of a dusty woman, which leads to another legend that was quite popular at that time. It is said that before Hong Jun won the first prize, there was a prostitute who sponsored her. In some of her works, this prostitute was called Xiaoqing. Like all the heroes and heroines in the story "A Beauty Saving a Child", Hong Jun and Xiaoqing made an old-fashioned covenant, but they didn't run out of this story: Hong Jun, who won the first prize, felt that marrying a prostitute was detrimental to his dignity, so he abandoned his former alliance. Xiaoqing, who didn't know the inside story, was initially immersed in the joy of being called "Mrs. No.1 scholar" and hanged herself angrily after learning the truth. Therefore, in "Flowers of Evil", Fu, who is the first in the flower list, has a circle of natural red silk around her neck, which is enough to make the hero Jin (Hong Jun's word, which is obviously implied here) understand that she is Xiaoqing's back, so she has the feeling of reunion. Because of this unfinished past life, many works attribute the death of Hong Jun to Xiaoqing's revenge on him: Cai Yun later committed adultery with his little servant and played with the leading actor, which finally made Hong Jun angry. Even later, he formed an indissoluble bond with the player Sun. There are also rumors that Sun's predecessor was unfair to Xiaoqing in the past marriage, so this life was rewarded. However, Ceng Pu's Evil Sea Flower is not satisfied with such a simple story of karma. The novel deals with Cai Yun's personality in a more detailed way, which makes it easier for people to believe that the top scholar's wife is extraordinary. During her tenure as the "Minister's Lady", Cai Yun not only learned the European language quickly, but also caused a sensation with her beauty and wisdom. Even the queen of Germany took a photo with her. In contrast, Jin Feiqing, the envoy of the Great Qing Dynasty, was pedantic and incompetent everywhere, even demanding to save his wife in times of crisis. Fu's frankness and boldness in Kim's confession to leave Kim's family after his death are also commendable:

"I don't want to give master for breath, figure a good son? But I was born with this lively and playful bad temper, and I can't make my own decisions when things come out. ..... If you insist on leaving me here, you may play a bad joke. Speaking of that, I'm even more sorry for my master! Moreover, I am a person who is used to being sloppy. I have never learned the truth of being a man since I was a child ... My rich hand won't shrink back for a while, and I am afraid that this dead industry left by my master can't supply my extravagance, so I thought it over. Instead of fooling around under a false guise, I still hurt my master and my children in the end. Why don't you come straight to the point and let me go? I won't do anything named Jin anyway. I'm alone at most.

In fact, if Fu is willing to keep a festival for Hong Jun after his death, instead of going back to his old job in the next class, the reputation of "the top lady" cannot be used as the capital for fame. In the era of Sai Jinhua, a prostitute who is willing to be a virtuous woman like Dong Xiaowan, a famous prostitute in the late Ming Dynasty, is better than nothing. Many prostitutes in the late Qing Dynasty often got rid of their debts by getting married because of their excessive spending and heavy debts. Within three to five months to a year, they try their best to leave their in-laws and regain their Zhang Yan status, which is called "bubble bath". Although Sai Jinhua failed to avoid customs, it was only after Hong Jun's death that she clearly understood that she was underground, which was also aboveboard. Therefore, in Yan Gu's Flowers of Evil, Sai Jinhua fled to Shanghai on the way to send Ling back to the south in history, which was described as the acquiescence of Hong Jun's original wife, because it didn't hurt each other.

Back in Shanghai, Sai Jinhua was listed as a guest, and it worked well and became famous in one fell swoop. Wu, a famous novelist in the late Qing Dynasty (author of Strange Land Seen in Twenty Years), listed her as one of the "last two monsters" among famous prostitutes at sea because of her legendary experience. Another author deliberately expelled one of the original famous prostitutes "Four donkey kong" from the sea and included this "First Lady"? The first of "King Kong". In Beijing, she is called because she likes to wear men's clothes? "Master Sai".

However, it was the boxer incident that made Sai Jinhua famous again. It is said that after Eight-Nation Alliance entered Beijing, Sai Jinhua was favored by westerners because of her understanding of Europe. When she was in the west, she met the commander-in-chief of the allied forces, Wa Sid. This time, the old love rekindled and the intimacy was abnormal. It is precisely because of this special relationship that Sai Jinhua once advised Wa not to disturb the people, and the success of the negotiations was also attributed to her. Therefore, the people of Beijing are so grateful to her that they call her "Mr. Negotiator". This legend is also the most controversial place in the story of Sai Jinhua. Historically, Wadesi, who was born in 1832, is 68 years old. It seems unlikely that he and Sai Jinhua will have an affair. However, among the many prostitutes in Beijing, mastering Europe can really make Sai Jinhua stand out and provide convenience for "winning the favor of the country". As for the influence of Sai Jinhua on Xin Chou's peace, it can be said that there is no textual research from historical facts, while folk narration is another matter. In the records of most people at that time, Sai Jinhua, who paraded around the city with Europeans by car, at least did not arouse the disgust of ordinary people, but "Mr. Sai, Minister of Peace" was a household name in the Nine Cities. Legend may not have the authenticity of the details, but it does not rule out certain rationality.

This elusive case provides the novelist with enough imagination. Another novel at the end of the Qing Dynasty, The Nine-tailed Turtle, tells this story like this: Sai Jinhua went to the Forbidden City to chase the tile, and saw that the sacred palace in the eyes of Chinese people was occupied beyond recognition by the allies. Her instinctive patriotism was aroused: "Although I am a prostitute, I am actually from China. When I meet a place that can help China, I will naturally help. " Because Hua Desheng (alluding to Wahid) asked her to be an interpreter, Sai Jinhua used this to persuade Hua Desheng not to mistreat China people and release the detained China officials. What is more commendable is that she used her charming means to help China's peace minister Hong (implying Li Hongzhang) persuade Hua Desheng to sign a peace treaty. For this contribution, ordinary literati like to chew over words. What "he talked and laughed in the bullets to persuade the enemy to be handsome, bossing him around as a slave, and spending his honeymoon with the swallow, because he made a golden bell cover, even though he lived in a noble house, he also relied on a bright staff". A more natural imagination is probably more in line with the identity of the protagonist. As we can imagine, Sai Jinhua plays a euphemistic Su Bai. 」

After the peace talks were completed, the allied troops withdrew, the two palaces were buried, and there was no golden flower. On the contrary, although the reputation of "Mr. Sai, the Minister of Peace Talks" has increased a lot of "business", he is still living by selling jokes. As for the death of the prostitute later, Sai Jinhua was not without responsibility, but there seemed to be something hidden. For example, Wu thinks that she was sent back to her original place because of showing off. The word "show off" seems to have a profound meaning. In troubled times, the identity of a dusty woman fluctuates greatly, and the huge contrast can easily reflect the coldness of the world. So the nine-tailed turtle boldly invented a despicable BuBulang, and Sai Jinhua offended him because he didn't like his philistine appearance. Later, he made a big fuss about the abuse of prostitutes, and Sai Jinhua was finally forced to return to the south.

Since then, Sai Jinhua has become famous in Zhang Yan, but Qiu Niang is old and the legend has left her. However, a humble and dusty middleman will meet with historical circumstances twice in his life. Although it is a meteor flash, it is enough to arouse the yearning and cold sigh of the world. Therefore, people once predicted:

"As he is so chivalrous, he is not only smaller than Xiao Su and Xue Tao in ancient times, but also can't say that in the same year only by singing and dancing poems. He is even more famous than those noble people who drag purple, and he is a celebrity who teases the bright moon. He is a lifelong scholar. There is no such thing as getting on and off the bed, and a generation will come.
