Zhong Yongsen's ancestral home is Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province. He moved to Hong Kong in his early years and started from scratch in Hong Kong and Macao. He has successively served as the chairman of Hong Kong Wing Lung Development Company, Hong Kong Huangdu Company Limited, Hong Kong Roland Garros Group Limited and Australia ASL Sandstone Mining Development Co., Ltd. (a listed company). Mr. Zhong Yongsen invested in Jewelry City in Yangzhou and Kunming, aiming at organically integrating China's huge and scattered jewelry industry and connecting with the world. In August 2009, Mr. Zhong Yongsen was elected as the president of the Gold, Silver and Jewelry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
