In order to standardize the safety requirements of jewelry products in the domestic market, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration officially promulgated the mandatory standard GB 28480-20 12 "Provisions on the Limit of Hazardous Substances in Jewelry" on June 29th, 2012, and it was officially implemented on May 30th, 20 13.
I. Scope of application of standards
This standard is mainly applicable to ornaments made of various materials except jewelry and jade, including children's ornaments (14 and children's ornaments below 14).
Second, the standard technical requirements
1, nickel
If there is an electroplated coating on the surface of the product, the release of nickel from the long-term contact with the skin should be less than 0.5 μ g/(cm2 week) within two years of normal use.
2、? Other harmful elements
Jewelry made of other materials should meet the requirements of corresponding national standards. For example, accessories made of textiles should conform to GB18401-2010, and leather products should conform to GB 20400-2006.
3. Identification requirements
Children's ornaments should be clearly marked on labels or other marks.
