Place names. Outside the Heping Gate in Beijing. Wanghai Village was named after Liao Dynasty. Because of its glaze kiln, it is also called Liulichang. A gathering place for shops selling books, calligraphy and painting, antiques and stationery. Fu Cha Dunchong, Qing Dynasty, wrote "Yanjing Nianji Changdian II": The factory hall is two miles outside Zhengyangmen, and it was called Wanghai Village in ancient times, which is now the Liulichang of the Ministry of Industry. This street is two miles long and has many places, both north and south. Everything sold is antique calligraphy, painting, paper, book and post, which are all original works and appreciated by literati.
