Karl Gustavovich Faberge (1846.5.30- 1920) is a famous Russian goldsmith, jeweler and arts and crafts designer. I have studied in Germany, Italy, France, Britain and other countries. 1870 inherited his father's business as an ornament. 1882 When the All-Russia Exhibition was held in Moscow, its products were well-known and the royal families of European countries rushed to buy them. Faberge is an outstanding designer who is good at processing precious materials such as gold, silver, jade and precious stones. He made bold innovations and created many bizarre works of art, and his works have the artistic style of Louis XVI of France. Under his guidance, independent studios were established in Moscow, Kiev and London. The Easter eggs produced by his workshop are particularly exquisite, and they are called "Russian eggs", which are regarded as treasures by the royal families of Russia and other countries.
Faberge changed the way of accumulating precious materials in jewelry stores in the past, and boldly used materials such as ceramics, glass, steel, wood and small pearls. Faberge pays the most attention to design. His works embody the styles of Goethe, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau. Some of his works even have a strong sense of modernity, foreseeing simple geometric lines and simple styles in the 20th century. While his opponents kept the traditional white, light blue and pink pigments unchanged, Faberge was determined to innovate and use yellow, purple, orange and various greens-there were more than 140 brand-new colors. Faberge will also destroy all unsold products before the end of the year, which is Faberge's biggest attraction. He never repeats himself.
