According to legend, a scholar who failed to make the list in Beijing was ashamed to go home to see people and lived in an inn outside Vu Thang, Wuchang. After a long time, he was penniless, and the innkeeper urged the account every day. He went to a small bridge next to the inn to splash water. Suddenly, he saw a shiny green stone in the river, picked it up and gave up the idea of killing himself. After you come back with a stone, you don't eat or drink, and you study tirelessly. Half a month later, the boss saw that the scholar's spirit had improved, and he came to force the bill to sue the government for judgment. The scholar said, "I only have a suit of clothes and this stone. How can I pay my debts?" During the dispute, a jeweler saw the stone and paid the debt for the scholar. He exclaimed, "This stone was worn by Zhou Yu during the Three Kingdoms period. With it, you can go without eating or sleeping for many days. When Zhou Yu was seriously ill, he didn't want it to fall into the hands of others, so he threw it into the Yangtze River. " With the consent of the scholar, he bought the stone at a high price. After the scholar was rich, he saved himself by reading precious stones and small bridges, so he took out a sum of money to transform the small bridge into a stone bridge and named it Yuji Bridge himself. Later, this bridge became the place name of this area. Later, residents in this area built a pile of golden bridges on both sides of Yuji Bridge, built a multi-Sun Qiao in Dongchenggou on the east side of Zheng Ji Bridge, and built a multi-child bridge from Pangxiejia to Hu Sha. Since then, every spring, the dignitaries and people from commercial ports in Wuchang City have walked out of Vu Thang Gate of Wuchang City and passed these four bridges to visit Husha Lake, in order to achieve the good luck of "accumulating gold and accumulating jade, and having a full house of children and grandchildren".
