China Geo University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and established by the Ministry of Land and Resources, with earth system science as the main body and coordinated development of applied science, frontier science and emerging interdisciplinary subjects. It is the key construction of the national "2 1 1 project" and "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform", and it has been listed in "1 1 plan" and "excellent plan". It is an important member of "High-quality Resources Sharing Alliance of High-level Universities with Industry Characteristics", "International University Alliance of Earth Sciences" and "Joint Education of Seven Universities", and is known as "the highest institution of earth sciences in China".
